EXCLUSIVE: The complete list of precinct chairs who will pick Fort Wayne’s next mayor
Plus instructions on how to contact your precinct chair
As I wrote yesterday, many precinct chairs and Democratic Party stalwarts disagree with the leadership’s decision to keep the list of precinct chairs private in advance of Saturday’s caucus to select a new mayor of Fort Wayne.
Since that post was published, multiple people with access to the precinct chair list have sent me a copy. They believe the people of this community have a right to know who they are.
Allen County Democratic Party chair Derek Camp has said the party is not releasing the list due to safety concerns. I understand those concerns, but precinct chair is an elected position (though they can also be appointed by the party chair) and for many years, state law required that they be public.
In the words of one precinct chair, “We’re public officials. People should know who we are.”
I agree.
That is why I have decided to publish the precinct chair list, which you can see below.
Want to contact your precinct chair? Here’s how:
According to an Allen County Democratic Party spokesperson, Fort Wayne residents who want to contact their precinct chair can do so by sending an email to info@allencountydemocrats.org. The party will forward that message to the chair.
Not sure what precinct you’re in? You can look it up here. (A note: only 98 of the city’s 186 precincts have precinct chairs.)

Glynn Hines will be out of town on the day of the caucus. Because precinct chairs must be present to vote, he will not be able to participate.
Kimberley Michaelsen no longer lives in Fort Wayne and will not be in town for the caucus. Because precinct chairs must be present to vote, she will not be able to participate.
Apparently my precinct doesn’t have a chair. Wouldn’t be worth getting involved and how would I go about it?
